Ok so you know the cartoons are coming right? Well not for a while. Sorry.

 That's a question mark. Some people don't understand animals. And that's how animals get mistreated or killed. That's sad

                        MY GREAT IDEA
I had a great idea of doing 'Puppy Dog Toast' (Below) What you need:

• 2 TIC-TACS for each
• 4 apple slices for each
• 3 marshmallows for each
• 1 piece of toast for each 
• Jam, preserves, or peanut butter.

1. Make the toast just how you want it.
2. Spread selected topping on 2 of the marshmallows and TIC-TACS.
3. Put on the TIC-TACS  to create a face.
4. Put 2 apple slices on for ears.
5. Put 1 apple slice for a mouth.
6. Put 1 apple slice on for a collar. (Want to make it a spike collar? add some pointy nuts!)
7. Put a marshmallow on for a name tag.
8. Serve and enjoy!

Chapter 17 of Hearing Howls

The Wedding

Queenie was now mates with the newly-made Tiger. A rule in our pack is that all Deputies must have a regal ceremony to celebrate. I think it's what the hunters call a wedding. It has to be regal, pretty and flowery. I picked my girl pups to be what they call flower girls. (No mistake I saw a magazine.) We got flowers and things and soon we were done. The Justice Pack came. Unhappy, whereas invited them to leave, but declined my offer. Soon the wedding started. I was the announcer. "She-wolves and he-wolves we are gathered here today to witness the marriage-ahem- of The Wolf Queen and The Tiger. Tiger do you-" I was cut off by a loud "STOP!!" Raggedfang. Ever since I laid my eyes on him, I knew he was trouble. "What Raggedfang?" I said through gritted teeth. "THEY ARE TRATORS! THEY THINK THEY WILL GET YOUR LAND AS WELL AS THERE'S SO-" I had had enough. I drove his pack out. The wedding went on. The Tiger and The Wolf Queen were as happy as a couple could be.

The 2nd Litter
It was early evening and still raining. Mella can to me. I noticed she was a little bigger around than usual. "Kimbo I should have told you this earlier when I discovered. I am having a 2nd litter of pups." I was taken aback for the second time that day. I nearly fainted . That was news! "By the way there coming now." That was even bigger news! But she seemed overly-calm. "Go to the Pups' Den! Hurry!" She ran (Or tried to anyway.) Very soon the pups arrived. There were 3 girls and 1 boy. The girls were named: Fairy (White) Rosy (Red) and Candy Corn (White orange and yellow.) The boy was Mix. (Blue-grey) 20 pups! Wow. Most wolves ever have at least 9 or 10, so having 20 pups was record-breaking. I had never felt so proud.

Every Sunday we go to Chirch. We learn about God and Jesus the creator of the Heavens and the Earth

EASTER: Easter is when we celebrate Jesus rising from the dead. He was nailed to the cross and died there. 3 days later he rose from the dead. That was a true miracle.

CHRISTMAS: Christmas is sometimes re-written X-MAS. Well if you obey God that stops. We Christians write it CHRISTMAS. Why we celebrate Christmas is when Jesus was born. His earthly mother and father Mary and Joseph were traveling to an inn because Mary was expecting. All of the inns were full though. So they took him to a lowly manger where he was born. A huge star was sent down from Heaven. It looked a little like this:✡ according to many. The 3 wise men came to see him.  "For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son and whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

                                             ✞ Why Obey Him? ✞

If you don't worship God you will die and it will be over. However if you DO obey God when you die you will go up to Heaven and live ETERNALLY there. I am a strong Christian.

                        ✞ The Miracles He Did ✞

While Jesus was on this sinful earth ( Though He lived a perfect life,) He did many miracles. He healed the sick, made the dead live, walk on water and many more. You should get a Bible.✝ There are 66 books all of different teachings. It is divided into THE OLD TESTAMENT and THE NEW TESTAMENT. THE OLD TESTAMENT future tellings about Jesus. THE NEW TESTAMENT is about Jesus.

                              ✞ PRAY ✞

Praying is when you close your eyes, bow your head, and fold your hands and start with "O Heavenly Father." Here is a prayer that you can pray:

'' O Heavenly Father thank you for this day. I thank you for this (You say what your thankful for) Please help me (Again pick something you want God to help you with) I ask you to help (Say a family member or friend who needs help) In Jesus name we pray A-men.

Here is a common prayer which is said before meals:

"God is great, God is good, Let us thank him for our food, By his hands we all are fed, Give us Lord our Daily Bread. A-men.

Here is The Lord's Prayer:

"Our Father who arts in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever. A-men.

Here is a common prayer said before bedtime:

"Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray The Lord my soul to keep.By angels watch me through the night, let them wake m with the morning light. Please bless (Say family members and friends) In Jesus name we pray, A-men.

Chapter 16 of Hearing Howls

The Tiger

We were in my den. It was raining. We were discussing things of the packs. I looked outside and there was a rushhh sound. I looked to see what was making the sound. The victim jumped out. It was The Tiger. "YOU!!" I yelled. I jumped on his hairy back. He threw me off quickly. Rain was padding my body. Mella whispered something terse into my ear: "Let him in." So I did. Many wolves cowered at the mere sight of him. Some growled. "Oh Kimbo I am sick of evil! Let me stay. The other packs turned me down." He took a shuddering deep breath. I knew he was scared. He lowered his head. There was a cut on the back of his neck I was assuming from The Justice Pack's troops. "Lay down." I commanded. "Nurse wolf! Fetch me some spiderweb to put on this wound." I licked The Tiger's wound. Nurse Wolf brought spiderweb. She also had a substance that would make it heal faster. His heartbeat was slowing down for once. He was calm. I lay the substance on his wound. Then the spiderweb. He slept for a long time. When he awoke he seemed happy. There was a cloud of dust above him. It picked him up. He swirled and swirled. When he came down all of his scars were gone, replaced by odd-looking stripes. His eyes, instead of red, were a light shade of jade-green. He had wings. He was beautiful. Queenie looked at me. I nodded as a way of respect to let me go. "OH TIGER!" She shreiked. "I'VE MISSED YOU!" It was a very happy ending indeed.

Friends. I have lots. My Best Friend is in choir with me. I never fight with my friends. We always sit together. I have a friend, (Didn't know she was my cousin somewhere down the lines at the time...) Who is in our choir group she's one of the funniest girls other than my little sisters. Don't know how to start a Friendship? Here are some steps for starting one

1. Walk up to someone who looks nice (As in friendly)

2. Ask them there name. If they don't respond ask someone else.

3. Tell them your name and tell them your nice and want to be friends.

4. Share the day together.

I AM VERY FUNNY

As in the text above I AM VERY FUNNY! I got the funny from my hilarious dad. My sisters will say stuff like: " If I could duplicate and unduplicate I would unduplicate your mouth!" ( I talk a lot that's why she said that.) Than my dad would say: "O-O-O-OH!" That made me sort of mad ( Wouldn't that make you mad?) I made an Animal Jam funny video. (Below) Sorry if it's slow. And it's tiny to because I made it on a phone (>__<)

Chapter 15 of Hearing Howls

The Hooded Loner of Tale

A loner stood before me. It was night. She would not lift her hood. "Will you lift your hood?" I asked. "No!" She replied. I called a pack meeting. "Wolves of The Peace Pack we have a lone visitor. She will not remove her hood. Shamara! Onlyone! Hold this loner down. Any guesses on what kind of creature she is?" I asked the wondering pack. "A cat?" "A small leopard?" "A dog?" "A coyote? "You two. Pull her hood off." I want to see this loner." I said. They pulled her hood. It was not a cat or a small leopard or a dog nor a coyote . It was a fox! Her face was beautiful! She was white with a black moon-shaped splotch on her forehead and feather earrings. (How many have those?). "I am Eclipsed Moon the Storyteller of The Noplace. They took me away," She built a fire and her story erupted in the sky. The pack gathered around. "It all started with a snare. A fox kit was going with me to learn to tell stories as I. The kit fell into a snare that an untruthful male leopard that was living in the Noplace. The leopard told the leader to ban me from the Noplace. And she did. They live very close. That means you are my only hope to keep me safe! Please let me stay! " I thought. A dense howling among the crowd. I scrunched up my nose and barred my teeth. I tossed my short mane (Unkempt at that time) of silver hair. "I do not think so. I will keep this wolf pack wolves only. You may visit any other time." I said. The pups of the pack whimpered. "PLEASE leader!" A scraggly blonde wolf pup said flapping her wings. I sighed. "No. She is no wolf!" The young storyteller bowed her moon-cresent head. Just then a cloud of rainbow-colared stars came and whooshed around Mella and me. It swirled around us. Mella's paws crunched up. The rainbow shot up and came back down. . Then we alighted. The storyteller was a fox still! I expected it to make Eclipced Moon a wolf or something. But my face felt funny. I scrunched up my nose again. "Mmmph..." A nearby voice sighed. It was the blonde wolf pup. She was stuck under a tree branch. I lifted it up. "Leader... What happened to you?" She asked. Nothing seemed to have happened, and she ran to her mother. I looked at myself in the lake. My leader mark was still there. So was my mane. Then there was a whoo sound. I narrowed my eyes. There was a difference in my paws. My claws were longer! So was my mane. I was very happy. I flew into the air. I gazed at my wings. Not only were my claws and mane longer, but so were my wings. They were longer as a regal king's. I was very very pleased. "Eclipsed Moon you may join The Peace Pack." I said, bowing my head.

Hi everybody! I don't know if I've said this but I LOVE My Little Pony. I watch it every day. Somebody did cupcakes (Below) That are SO CUTE! I have most of the MLP characters but not Applejack or Rainbow Dash. I will add pictures of all of my ponies. The video show is My Little Pony\ Littlest Pet Shop! It's 21 seconds long but EXTREMELY funny. I was laughing my head off. HAHA! Tell me if you like MLP! I hope you enjoyed!

Chapter 14 of Hearing Howls
The Shadow Tiger
I was creeping by the riverside. A black figure had been lurking around for days. Then I saw him. I jumped on him with all my might. He wrested me to the ground. What an ugly sight he was! He was all black with long ears as a wolf's with a cut in it and a ragged cape. He looked sort of tiger though. He tried to bite me but just as he was going to bite me I moved. I bit him on the tail. He cried with agony. "Who are you and why have you come here?" I asked. "I am The Shadow Tiger!" He said. "Ok let me test how strong you really are." I challenged. I held out a log. He tore it in half. "Ok you can tear up a log. Be right back." I went to The Rouge Wolf Land and picked out the strongest one. A buff female with feather earrings streaming behind her. As we were running I asked her: "Will you join our pack? You are very strong." "I will. But I have no name so you name me now." "Your name shall be Shamara for that is wolf for 'strong and mighty'. I took her to The Shadow Tiger. Shamara jumped on him and clawed him. Something tore. It was The Shadow Tiger's (Or sometiger else.) costume. "Ahah! A fake." Shamara howled. "You will be taken prisoner at our pack." We took him to our pack. i howled a meeting. Queenie sat on the ground. "Woles of The Peace Pack I have 2 things. One is there is a new member of the pack. Meet Shamara." All the wolves stared. "And this so called 'Shadow Tiger' was lurking in our grounds. But I have found out he is a FAKE!" The wolves gasped. "He is a traitor!" Called Eclipse. "TRAITOR! TRAITOR!" Everyone cried. Shamara tore of the costume. It was the tiger! "Go away tiger!" I commanded. "Never!" he replied. "Mella please give him a little blazing will you?" I asked. Out of her mouth came flames. She aimed them at the tiger. She blazed his tail. Then stopping she bit it. The tiger (Tail part missing,) ran. "Ah it feels good to make an enemy run." Mella said. I took Shamara into my den. "You must know The Code." I said 1 hour later the full moon came up. We howled. Shamara howled.The a cloud of dust came and swept her up. She had wings. We were very happy to have a new warrior strongest in the pack. As for Shamara she was overjoyed.

Chapter 13 of Hearing Howls

The Capture

 Queenie, Mella and I were out in the wilderness. Suddenly hunters came! We ran like foxes. But they caught us and threw us in an Animal Control truck. They shot us (Or a least me,) with a dart that made me dizzy. Before I knew it we were at a prison-looking place. They yanked the dart out of my side and put a collarish thing on my neck. They threw me into a cage and locked it. My side was bleeding a little from the dart. I licked it and started howling. A hunter pounded the cage. I was tossed. They grabbed the cages of Mella, Queenie and I to a tube sort of thing. They tossed us in. Queenie sighed. "I was the one that got you into this! I'm sorry." She said. She pressed her body against the glass. It was nighttime I could see no hunters. I had rocks in my fur. " So gonna play mean eh hunters?" I thought. I threw the rocks at the cage and it broke! I broke all the other animals cages to. We were free! I was overjoyed that The Cave of Spirits had put rocks in my fur.

Chapter 12 of Hearing Howls

The Unknown She-Wolf

 I was sleeping in my den alone. Both my mates were in the Pups' Den. I dreamed. A figure wolf was standing there. It was Quivv. "Quivv!" I said warily. We licked each other. "Beware Kimbo!" She said in her voice soft as honey. "The wolf that is to be lost has foaming-mouth disease. Do not let her bite any of you." And she disappeared and left me in a world of nothing. I screamed but my cries were lost in the world on blazing white nothing. I ran but got no where. I ran and ran to a room of glittering gold and silver. I trotted up to it and jumped into the gold. I put on a crown and held a scepter. It soon evaporated and I fell into a black swirling hole. I woke up. It was morning. I called for a meeting and all wolves came to the Leader Rock. "Wolves of The Peace Pack a spirit named Quivv told me in a dream that a wolf had Rabies. We must build a snare. We can not suffer Rabies in this pack. It was so. No more than 1 hour later we found a ravine and built a huge snare. We found the madwolf. She was snapping at a rat. Onlyone and Toyo were running toward her faces grim teeth bared. She ran for them and they turned around and drove her around to the snare. As soon as she saw the snare she stopped dead in her tracks. Onyone snorted and snapped and she ran yet more. She finnaly disappeared in the fire. I didn't hear the screaming as trapped wolves. Out came a beautiful she wolf with a short mane a Bavtal's. Not Mother though. Mother was in The Cave of Spirits. Was it Vivtet my youngest sister? It very much was."Bavtal? Kimbo? I thought you were in The Cave of Spirits! I cried every day over my lost siblings!" She said. "No less than we did Vivtet." Bavtal said. We were all happy. Very happy to be exact.

The Get-Together and Flying Fur
We were on our way to a Get-Together. All packs gathered but the Dangerous Cats. On our way we saw something labeled ether 'Quack Pack' or 'Quick Paste'. We were there at last. I saw all the leaders.  Sheela of The Unnamed Pack and Raggedfang of The Justice Pack. When it was time I howled for quiet. "Wolves of all packs I have news!" I said. "The wolf queen former leader of The Unnamed Pack is now an ally of The Peace Pack." There were murmurs of disagreement. "When The Unnamed Pack's  Shelter Den was destroyed I ran to the nearest pack for cover. Kimbo made me whole and made me his second mate!" Queenie said. "NO!" Yelled Raggedfang. "IT WILL NOT BE! ZUBANU FETCH THIS WOLF AND TAKE HER WITH US AND THROW HER IN THE PRISON FOR SHE HAS AN EVIL AND WICKED HEART!" Zubanu stormed and dragged the wolf queen away from me. "Give her back now." I said. "No!" Zubanu argued. "GIVE HER BACK NOW!" Mella screamed. I wanted this night to be over soon. "Send me to him please." Queenie gasped. "I already said no!" Zubanu fumed. Queenie growled as a warning to say: You have 5 seconds to give me back to him or else! I was gazing at him. Suddenly a cloud of purple dust swirled up and grabbed Zubanu. He tried to claw the ground but the dust sucked him into a powerful whirlwind of jet black fur. It moved scattering wolves here and there. Finally it put him down. He lay twitching and shuttering until he sat up dizzy. "What was the cause of that dust Kimbo?" Raggedfang said then he moved suddenly out of the way. A silver cloud reined over The Peace Pack. A shower of glittering rain sprayed us. Then it lifted us. We spun and spun. It suddenly dropped us harshly on the ground. Some of the pack was frosty. Some were burning. And some were sparking. I had stars above my head. Mella had fire Twisted had frost and Queenie had sparks. I opened my mouth to say: 'What in the world?!' but nothing came out but a satchel that fell out of the sky. I opened it and there was a wand. I strapped it to my back. I held the wand and said: "Quiv alla princee tallaforra gyunve axit dui dui JAXCAL!" Stars came raining down. Queenie gave out sparks from her mouth. They hit a rock and it sparked. The Stars formed a tornado that whirlwinded through The Justice Pack. They shaped into a massive wolf's paw with claws! It scratched and pawed the wolves. Then the turned to 1 whole wolf. She nodded to me."Quivv!" Quivv was the spirit of my older cousin. She fell into the lake and could not swim the hard currant. I thought. "Kimbo I tell you now a time will come when a wolf's spirit will come to an end... FOREVER!" The message was clear. But which wolf was it?

A Love Like Never Before
My new mate loved me dearly. Then a hawk swooped in on our den. She clawed at the awful bird. It scratched her leg then flew away. "Your leg... I'm sorry." I said my eyes clouded with sorrow. "Why your sorry? You knew nothing of the hawk. I love you!" I licked her bleeding leg until the bleeding stopped. I put cobweb around it. She lay down rolling playfully. It was a play fight. I jumped on top of her and wrestled her until she flipped me over and she got on me! A few months later she got bigger around. She got bigger and bigger until it was time she had pups. She moved to the Pups' Den. I went to the Pups' Den to visit her. "Hi Queenie!" I teased her. "Hi Double-Dad!" She teased back. One night it was storming. Then it happened. She let out an thin scream. Hour after hour I waited. 10 hours later 1 beautiful pup was born. We named her Auga. She was golden-creme with a blue eye and a green eye. The wolf queen truly did love me.

The Quake
It was raining. I was watching from my den window eating at a tree lemur. When I was done I dug up the dirt and created a hole. I set the lemur bones in the hole covering the hole up again. Suddenly the earth shook. It rumbled and an earthquake had begun! I howled for everyone to follow me to the Shelter Den. Mella was shaking. I heard thunderous pawsteps. It was the wolf queen. Only her and no one else. "Let me in please! I'm begging you! Our Shelter Den has been destroyed!" We let her in. I heard the rapid beating of her heart as she lay down. I licked her ear. She smiled. I never saw her smile before. "Where is the rest of your pack?" I whispered to the now rasply-breathing wolf queen. "Underneath the boulders and stones and if they survive they can rule." Her blank red eyes quickly became full and green. Her fur changed from black and shaggy to gray and sleek. After the quake the full moon was out. I called a meeting. Bavtal was beside me and I asked her: "Do you like deputyship?" She thought. "I took your offer because you had no deputy. I'd like to retire to a solder now." Then I said: "Wolves of The Peace Pack we have news. Bavtal wants to retire as a solder now. We also have a visitor the wolf queen from The Unnamed Pack. All the eyes blinked dumbly but the wolf queen's. "The new deputy is the wolf queen. Her name can not be changed. It was given to her be The Cave of Spirits. We can't take it away." The wolf queen sat next to me now. She licked my forehead. "Now let us all sit in a ring to howl at The Moon. "AROOOOO!" We all howled in unison. We had all howled till it was respectful. Then it happened. A cloud of sparkling golden-yellow dust appeared around the wolf queen. It lifted her from the ground. It swirled and wooshed. Finally she was set down. She walked over to me stumbling. She had wings. She threw her head down and her crown fell to the ground. Folding her wings in a silent thanks she dug up dirt and made a hole. She kicked her tiara into the hole burying it. "Now all wolves," I said. "Let us party for the pack is thankful for my second mate." And I told her I was sorry for the nick I left in the tiger's ear. "Never mind that old geezer!" She giggled. An hour later my second mate spread her wings and said: "Dance with me?" "Of course I will!" I said happily. I spread my wings and took her paw. We did The Justice Dance. It goes like this. One right-wing flap left-leg kick right-leg kick left-wing flap. She enjoyed it very much. We at this state were very tired. She and Mella curled up wit me. I licked the wolf queen and licked her and licked her till her new silver pelt gleamed. She groomed me back. Her green eyes shone as I said I loved her. She listened as I told her The Code

Now before I start another chapter of Hearing Howls I'd like to tell you this!

The Pups
I bet you want to know about my puppies yes? Well it all started with Twisted not born with a crooked paw. He fell on a stump and it healed twisted. Then then there's Iwony. Then Xaila, Zock, Eris, Foula, Sliod, Wazyan, Vispo, Biskuf, and Melbo (Named after both of us.) And the last 4 are: Disoz, Wiku, Maz, and Maza (Twins.) Here is how the birth went. One dark night Mella was due to have her pups. I was worried by thought. Then the nurse wolf told me it was time. Mella let out an erie yell. The nurse wolf gave of orders such as: "Get water!" and "Get fresh-hunt!" or "Are you crazy? Get herbs!" I sighed. After 24 hours I heard "Well done Mella you've done it!" I rushed in. "She'll live Kimbo. I glanced at Mella and saw 15 bundles. One was walking. Out of the cave to! I tried to catch him but it was to late! He had fell on a stump not even an hour old. He cried and cried. A few months later the paw was twisted. His name was formerly Buster. But now we renamed him Twisted. They all have mates now. And that's that.

Chapter 7 of Hearing Howls
The Poison of Hate
I wanted to show of my new wings to someone. Everyone did. So Twisted's idea was show the wolf queen and there were howls and barks of agreement. "No that is a dangerous idea!" said Clawtooth. "I know her I was with her evil laws half my life!" Bavtal yowled. "I am the Alpha Male here and Mella and I will decide." I said. So Mella and I did talk and we finally decided:  "We will go but bring her a peace offering. Toyo! Onlyone! Go hunt down the fattest moose in our hunting grounds." And we waited and watched for Toyo and Onlyone's hunting party. They came back flying with a moose clamped firmly in there jaws. We were off. When we landed the wolf queen came bolting into the land.  "WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!" She raged. "AND WHY DID YOU STEAL OUR PREY?" "We did not steal your prey. It is merely a peace offering." Firefall growled. "Peace offering or not I can not let you onto our land!" She howled for her troops. I called mine off. "So Kimbo to scared to even fight?" She gazed at my back as if it was an orb or something. "What are...are those things?" "Wings." I said. "How did you get them?" Asked the tiger warily. "Did you not listen to to The Code when you became leader?" Mella howled. "No of course not! The Code does not matter to us. When I became alpha my name was Mowa and I declared The Code was not worth a pile of mouse bones!" The wolf queen growled. "Only wolves of good that respect The Moon get wings!" Icefall said. "I don't care! Leave NOW!" A she-wolf that appeared to be deputy yowled. And we left. I was very hungry and went to the fresh-hunt pile. I picked a mouse and walked to my den. I thanked The Cave of Souls. As I bit into it I spat it out with horror. It was now rotting. Mella sitting close by asked what the problem was. "This mouse was rotten I can't believe it! I will not have it." I stormed out and howled a meeting. "Wolves of The Peace Pack I just went to get my fresh-hunt and the mouse I ate was rotting! Whoever hunted this mouse come to my den now." I was never so angry in my life. A rotten mouse in the fresh-hunt! I saw who you would never believe. Standing before me was Bavtal my very sister. The deputy. "Brother Kimbo it was I who hunted that mouse. It was old but in good shape! I do not know how it got rotten." She started crying. "Oh I  am so very sorry will you ever forgive me?" "Of course you are the deputy more importantly my sister." I said giving her ear a lick.

1. Only wolves that respect The Moon get wings
2. Never defeat another unless you have to
3. Do not eat until you thank The Cave of Spirits first
4. Bury the left-over bones or scraps of meat from prey so The Cave of Spirits knows you were thankful for your prey's life
5. Never mate with a wolf from another pack
6. Respect the alpha and older wolves
7. Never defy the pack
8. Always hunt for the pack first
9. Respect The Moon by howling at it
10. Thank The Cave of Spirits for every wolf's life even your enemies

Chapter 6 of Hearing Howls

 A Few Months Later

It was mating season yet again. (But Bavtal's pups were born in the fall.) Bavtal named her pups that were 5 female and 1 male: Leaffall, Sandfall, Snowfall, Icefall, Firefall, and Kimbo the 2nd. They all set out for a mate. Awhile later 12 young wolves returned. Leaffall mated to Redfoot, Sandfall mated to Fang, Snowfall mated to Clawtooth, Icefall mated to Goldenwing, Firefall mated to Lavaclaw, and Kimbo the 2nd mated to Heatherpond. Heatherpond I well knew just by looking at her was the most beautiful she-wolf I'd looked at since Mella. All my pups had mates 15 more wolves to the pack that is. I won't name all 30 wolves because that would take half the time. I'll name them some other time. "Hello Kimbo. I found the most beautiful she-wolf in all the land." Said Young Kimbo licking his she-wolf as the bride. "H-hi." Heatherpool said shyly. "Who's the boss here?" Asked Clawtooth. "Me Kimbo." I said. "Kimbo? Kimbo formerly of the Unnamed Pack?" Yes how did you know that?" Mella spoke up from behind the crowd. "I... I-? What's happening?" Suddenly a sparkling cloud of dust appeared and circled every wolf in the pack. All I could hear was the wooshing and whirling of the dust. Something outstretched from the body of every wolf. Then there was a blinding yellow light and we landed on the ground. Mella gasped. "Wings! I have wings!" She cried. "Now we can fly!" Twisted howled in joy. I flapped my new wings and took off from the ground. I flew above the clouds and then dove quickly. I had never been so happy in my entire life! Not one of the wolves were not flying. Some laughed at the fun some did loop-the-loops and barrel rolls. Lavaclaw did the Undercatch Dive and slurped up a mouse. I did not know that we could do that. we hunted till good after moonrise. We had full stomachs after a hard winter. I curled up and slept all night long.

The Birth
I was snoozing on my rock when I herd a longing yell. I rushed to the Pups' Den and found Bavtal with    6 lively puppies. One was perfectly still. "What's wrong Bavtal?' I asked "L-look there Kimbo!" She whimpered pointing to the still puppy. I put my nose on the still pup. He did not appear to be even breathing. He stirred. Then sputtered. Then nothing. He moved a bit than to his mother. "Kimbo you saved his life! I'll call him Kimbo the 2nd for his Uncle Kimbo saved his life!" I bellowed with pride. "You're welcome Bavtal." I walked back to the den after awhile and told Mella. After a rough sleep it is finally morning. "Good morning Bavtal!" Twisted called to her. She merely nodded. Then she came right up to me. "Hello Kimbo. I hear from Kimbo the 2nd that he loves you!" And that sent me straight to him. He got up and licked my paws. "Hullo Uncle Kimbo! Lovely day is it not?" "Yes it is." I was trying not to gap at his smartness.

The Nightmare
It had been months since that war. Mella had healed fine and thank goodness for that. Now I feel very sleepy because taking remote care of 15 puppies is such difficult work. So I settled down to rest and my eyelids drooped. The tiger was back! There were yells of terror. Mella was fighting bravely alongside the tiger. He hit her against the rock once again and ran to swipe her, and he not only did that but clawed her. He had expired my Mella. "NOOO!  WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" I attacked the tiger but he jolted his claws at me... I awoke with a sharp prick on my side. "Mella how did you? Did the spirits send you back?" "No Kimbo I was here all along. Why do you ask?" She questioned. "The tiger he sent you to the Cave of Spirits did he not- Wait. Was that a nightmare?" I was confused beyond compare. "Yes it was a nightmare dear." Mella assured me. After she went I was parched. I padded over to the lake. There was a faint pad pad pad of pawsteps. "A dingo?" I thought. I let my body harden up for a fight. Then my nightmare nagged at the very corners of my mind. "A spy for my old pack?" And yes it was. I lunged for my attacker but soon knew something... It was my sister Bavtal"K-Kimbo?" she sputtered licking my nose. She was bigger around than I remember. "Yes sister it is me!" I said. "Ever since the wolf queen threw you out I begged her for mercy but she threw me out to and I've been trying to find you." Bavtal choked at the memory. "Come to my pack. We are all friendly!" I asked. "With you? Oh Kimbo what an honor! She stopped short. "My puppies are coming- And soon too." I gagged on a blade of grass I was chewing on. When we went back home I sat upon the Leader Rock. "Wolves of the Outcast Pack come to me now. Our pack will no longer be called the Outcast Pack but Peace Pack. And now I bestow upon you the new deputy of this pack, my sister Baval!" There was howls of approve. "Say something!" I said under my breath. "Um... I thank my brother Kimbo for choosing me as- as-" She went into some kind of dead faint. "Nurse Wolf take her to the Pups' Den now!" She picked Bavtal by the scruff of her neck. "Please keep her safe- Please."

Chapter 3 of Hearing Howls
On Time Today
I was sitting on my throne of left-over bones when Sajiv came to me. "S-Sire sire! D-Danger coming! And fast!" I went to the watch tower were Toyo was reporting the story to Mella. "Gather the troops. Onlyone come now." I said. He was sitting over by The Pharoas River. Suddenly a huge cloud of dust appeared. "MORE WOLVES!"Sajiv shouted."I'll talk with the pack l-" I was cut off. I knew that evil glint. I knew that long-respected crown. It was the Alpha female of the same pack I was born unto. "So we meet again Kimbo. MAW HA HA HA HA!" The wolf queen said. "Do you even call your self a queen?" I said infuriated. She whispered to a powerful looking tiger. "What do you call this little fellow? Dinner?" She gestured toward Twisted. He put on his toughest look. "I'm NOT dinner! I'm the son of Kimbo." Twisted looked at me as if saying "Did I do well Dad did I ?" "Good job son now go join your friends in the nursery!"Mella said. I felt the battle cry brewing deep inside me. "ADVANCE!" I could not bear the wolf queen's taunting calls any longer. The sight of all the wolves biting and slashing each other was unpleasant but we had to do it. "Now I see why we  stay of there land Eclipse!" I heard Twisted say. I heard a yowl of pain as that battle-scared tiger smacked Mella against a boulder. "You monster leave my mummy alone!" Eclipse now said. He backed her into a wall. As much as I wanted to help Mella the Nurse Wolf got her and I advanced the tiger. "Back off-or else!"The tiger cowered in fear. They ran away as fast as there fought legs could carry them. "Mella-Where is she Singa?" I asked. "Over there. She's okay I think." I walked over to her. "K-Kimbo?"She said Yes it is me Mella!"

The Hunters
BANG! Arrows bolted. Fangs slashed and bit. The hunters intruded our land and fighting was the only way to tell we were angry. "NOW SANDSTORM NOW!" I yelled. Sandstorm was the most fearsome solder Mella and I had. He jumped from a tree his claws and fangs extended. He turned in mid-air and hit the largest hunter. "Ha ha ha! Here we are just you and me." The hunter slashed at Sandstorm but he knocked the weapon right out of his hand. The hunter took it back. Sandstorm bit the hunter and he yelped with pain. All the hunters ran away never to come back. "Are you alright Sandstorm?" I asked " Yes just badly shaken." He growled and staggered away. I could tell he was stiff with anger. 1 of the wolves was stuck in the bushes another was being mended by the Nurse Wolf. Twisted (My first pup.) was having the dust brambles and pine needles combed out of his fur by the Groom Maid. "I am highly grateful no wolf got injured!" He kept telling her. "Yes darling you told me." She said breaking a pine comb. As the leader of a pack full of name-less outcasts I told Mella to help me name the 10 grown-up wolves because the pups were already named.(5  who were female.) "All wolves of Outcast Pack come to me and you will get names. Now divide yourselves into male and female and the males will be named first." I watched as 5 adult male wolves came to me. " You will be named Withdraw-." I saw Sandstorm in the group. "Need a new name Sandstorm?" Mella asked. "Yes Your Highness." "Next! You will be named Aperin."Sandstorm came to me now. "You will be renamed Onlyone because you were the only lone wolf that came to the pack."

Chapter 1 of Hearing Howls
The Exiled Pack
It all started the night of Harness Mella. The queen told me to catch all the fish so the Justice Pack could have none. She was a selfish she-wolf and not even her mate could stop her. Of course I turned her down for I am a very selfless wolf. I was thrown out of the pack. Later 40 other packless wolves found me. They made me there leader! "Great leader what is our pack to be named?'' Of corse since we were thrown out I called it Outcast Pack. A sleek she-wolf came to me. I needed a mate and that is just what she was going to ask. "Sire I am in deep need of a mate."Her name was Mella because she was born in Harness Mella. "I already knew that was what you were going to ask and you are beautiful. I will be your mate." ''What is your name?" Mella asked. " Kimbo" I replied. By the end of Harness Mella we had 15 pups and yes this is not the life I planed but it is very exiting. We all howl at the moon.  "Now howl to the moon we all respect." Hunters near by heard us!

Family. It is what makes us smile. Mom, Dad, Sister,Brother, Grandmother and lots more! I love my family so much it would take 100,000,000 years to count it.Even though we do not have a pets and stuff we still love our family. They love all of us and we love them to. Our Nana`s dog Reese is 10 years old and still is energetic! Our first pet was a puppy named Sprinkles but we only had her 1 month. Do you love your family? She was born tiny but now is so tall!

I am reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire book 4 in the Harry Potter series.

In kindergarden I learned Mr. Alligator,(Greater than, Less than) and the < sign was the alligator and he wanted the biggest number to eat. I know how to do short division. I am 9 and in fifth grade! My mom has read us nutty stories like Slow Loris by Alexis Deacon. It is about a sloth that takes a long time to do stuff. But at night he does things fast... it is just silly. If you want to find Horse Diaries at your local library look for Catherine Hapka. I love to sing. Any time, any place Acting Class is where we sing most and is at a  Local Theater. Math is my favorite subject in school. I know 4 divided by 36 is 9 and A=LW. (It means Area = Length times Width) There will be work pages for that to on April 19. The work pages are called Katie`s Majestic Math Work. Kids of all ages (and adults) will love it.

You want to know a few horse facts? Horses can eat 10 to 20 pound of hay a day. There is 1 stallion in a herd of wild horses. All those horse facts were mind-fliping right?

Hi! My name is Katie. I LOVE Horses. I have read Legend of the Guardians (By Kathryn Lasky) and Harry Potter (By J.K Rowling). I am good at jokes... Here is one now. Knock knock (who's there?) You know (You know who?) DON'T COME IN! (You know Voldemort right?) I am only 10 and have written a book...Not published but it is called The Secret Life of The Barn Owl. This blog is called Katie`s Ranch because (in the first row) Horses come to my interest. I am home schooled and get many days off (not the summer.) I have 3 little sisters and 1 little brother! It is awesome to have such a cool family(not to mention mom dad AND grandma) ZOOM! I want to be a movie star and write my own movie. My 5 year old sister has such a HUGE imagination and has a knack for playing the iPad. My 9 year old sister has a soft spot for plants (owns one named Emerald) and loves (I mean LOVES) to read Harry Potter (By J.K Rowling) She has read the WHOLE Harry Potter series.My 3 year old sister can be touchy sometimes.She love our GREAT dad and is a mini jester. My 18 month old brother is so cool! He can give hugs and kisses and simply adores to be tickled. My grandma sews and make us cute dresses. My mom makes us toys and stuffed animals.
